Manuel Romero was born in the decade of the film F for Fake. Little could he have imagined then that, many years later, he would devote himself to falsifying small fragments of reality for advertising and film. Manuel’s career as a graphic designer and digital artist are has taken him from fashion to editorial design, from corporate image to museum design, finally reaching cinema and advertising, to which he has dedicated most of his time in recent years, with more than 600 advertising projects and 20 films behind him. He applies this accumulation of 25 years of experience in his latest reincarnation: Fake for Films.
Enthusiasm and concern for detail have helped shape a professional career, but so has his cinephilia, melomania, and “geek” spirit. Something that could be corroborated by the many art directors, costume, or production designers with whom he has worked closely, or the 3D designers and artists with whom he has teamed up on major projects.
